Crime related stories and games are usually very popular because they offer a different perspective and a peek into a very different lifestyle. You will find a number of crime games on the Google Play Store for the same reason. Generally, a good crime related game would offer a lot of action and drama and would have a strong storyline to supplement the gameplay. However, some games with these qualities have very high graphics and are therefore, not playable on an average phone. San Andreas Crime Stories is a crime game that comes in handy for users who can't afford to play a very heavy game but are still looking to play a coherent and action packed crime game.

San Andreas Crime Stories is loosely based on the very popular Grand Theft Auto's San Andreas Edition. The crime game picks most of the story elements and general gameplay from the Grand Theft Auto games. However, the developers of San Andreas Crime Stories make the game lighter by aiming for a lower resolution. The slow gaming engine and low resolution has an impact on the smoothness of the gameplay and the quality of graphics but the trade-off is expected since the game takes very little space on the phone and doesn't require high-end processor and RAM specifications.

One of the disappointing aspects of the crime game is that it starts without any tutorial and you have to figure everything out on your own. While the game's controls are simple enough, it can take the user quite a while to understand how to move the character, how to steal cars and how to switch between weapons. The lack of tutorial also means that you don't get an idea of how to evade cops, how to lower wanted ratings and how to generally spot things on the map. The crime game has a very basic storyline that is slowly established when the character starts doing missions. The essence of the game is that your character wants to join a crime gang in order to gain money. There are multiple types of missions that need to be completed in order for the character to earn cash and to earn a higher reputation amongst the criminal circles. The game gets the difficulty level spot-on in these missions as they are very easy at the start but once you start getting a hang of the game and its controls, the missions start to challenge your ability to play under pressures from other gangs and the cops.
The general gameplay of San Andreas Crime Stories is fine but is hampered by the graphics a lot. You can drive bikes and cars, buy and carry multiple weapons and walk or run as you desire. There are a lot of non-playing characters that you can randomly start fights with or kill when you feel bored and want some entertainment. There is a lot to do in the game but since the graphics are very poor, you aren't able to enjoy it to the level you can.

The crime game's controls are also good but you never feel in control due to the glitch nature of the gameplay. Driving cars and bikes is especially tough since the control sensitivity is difficult to understand and control responsiveness can be off a lot of the times.
